Project News


Hunt Tower & Mechanical Building

Hunt Tower is a 10-story Class A office building. Action-Mechanical is providing all the HVAC and plumbing for the project. This will be a LEED certified building. HVAC system is a variable speed water source heat pump with wireless controls.

Subs include Northwest Arkansas Sheet Metal, Pro Insulation, and Harrison Energy Hunt Tower 5100 JB Hunt Dr. Rogers, AR

Robinson Auditorium Rennovation

Estimated Construction cost: $68 million
Local Firms/Businesses on the project:
Polk Stanley Wilcox Architects and CDI Contractors, both based in Little Rock are the lead firms on this project. Other local firms working on this project include TME Inc. & McClelland Consulting Engineers.

On July 1, 2014 Robinson Auditorium was closed for construction and in September 2016 will be the Grand Re-Opening. Action-Mechanical, Inc. will be installing 600 tons of new cooling in the building and over 200 new plumbing fixtures.

Sparks Summit Hospital

Located at 211 Crawford Memorial Drive in Van Buren, AR.

  • Replacing the existing AHU and piping that services the OR’s at the Van Buren hospital

UAFS Wellness and Recreation Center

Located at 525 North 51st Street in Fort Smith

  • This is a new two story fitness center with a gym. The courts will have multi-purpose use we are performing the mechanical and plumbing systems.

Benefit open enrollment will be the month of November for Medical, Dental and Vision insurance effective December 1, 2015.

When can you enroll other than open enrollment?

  • 90 days after hire date
  • When you have a major family event such as marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a baby (limited to first 30 days after the event.)
  • If you or a dependent are terminated by another carrier (limited to first 30 days.)

401K enrollment:

  • Action employees are eligible to enroll after completing 6 full months of employment.
  • There are two enrollment dates each year – January 1 and July 1
  • Changes such as contribution amount or designated beneficiaries can be changed at the beginning of each quarter.
  • Action matches 40% of employee contributions.
  • Contribution amounts start at $5 per pay period
